Workplace interiors - how we work

Red Square - providing contemporary workplace interiors that combine functionality with style

Red Square has considerable experience in designing creative workplace interiors. Each project starts with a free consultation so that the desired requirements of a scheme can be discussed in detail.

We appreciate that the purpose of each workplace interior design brief is different. Whether you wish to create flexible space, increase the overall floor area or improve efficiency through undertaking a reorganisation, refurbishment or relocation, Red Square has the experience and skills to help change your surroundings to meet your design objectives.

Simplifying the workplace interior design process

Red Square normally implements changes to workplace interiors through a four-phased approach as follows:

Phase 1 - Listening

This first phase allows a dialogue with clients to develop. The best solutions stem from
gaining a detailed understanding of business aims, staff needs and organisational processes.
Red Square undertakes this phase by conducting:

  • Information gathering
  • Workplace consultancy

For more information go to listening.

Phase 2 - Interpreting

The aim of this second phase is to agree a workplace interior design brief. During this phase Red Square will communicate its ideas and proposed commercial interior design solution. We will illustrate how we have interpreted your requirements and show you how we have
translated these into appropriate solutions. This phase includes the following key stages:

  • Development of the commercial interior design brief
  • Office space planning
  • Commercial office concept design.

For more information go to interpreting.

Phase 3 - Creating

The third phase involves Red Square developing the agreed commercial interior design brief. Elements in this phase include:

  • Office design detailing
  • Materials and product specification
  • Office furniture selection.

At the end of this phase we will have agreed a cost plan and project programme. For more information on what is involved in creating the commercial interior design brief go to creating.

Phase 4 - Realising

This final phase of the commercial interior design project involves Red Square managing the implementation. Red Square utilises its own team of highly talented craftsmen and builders when undertaking the project management on behalf of clients. This phase typically includes:

  • Construction management
  • Post-project support
  • Tender support.
